This isn't a Silicon Valley product. It's built by someone who stands in front of students every day.
I'm a classroom teacher with years of experience across multiple grade levels and subjects. I've taught in different school environments — from large public schools to smaller settings — and the one constant has always been the same: teachers are drowning in work that has nothing to do with teaching.
Every evening was lesson formatting, grading rubrics, writing feedback, differentiating for 30 different learners, and still feeling like it wasn't enough. I'd spend hours on paperwork and minutes on the parts of teaching that actually mattered — building relationships, having conversations, noticing the student who was quietly struggling.
So I started building. TeachComplete began as a set of personal tools — AI prompts I wrote to help me plan lessons faster, give better feedback, and actually differentiate my instruction without burning out. When colleagues saw what it could do, I realized this needed to be something every teacher could access.
Teachers work an average of 50+ hours per week, and a huge portion of that time goes to tasks that are important but repetitive — writing the same feedback patterns, reformatting lesson plans, calculating grades, creating modified assignments. These tasks are essential but they don't require the creative, human judgment that makes teaching an art.
When you're exhausted, quality drops. You know the feedback could be better. You know the differentiation could be more targeted. You know you should be checking in with that quiet student. But there aren't enough hours. AI doesn't get tired. It can draft feedback at 11 PM with the same quality as 8 AM — and you can review it fresh in the morning.
Teachers are leaving the profession at record rates, and burnout is the number one reason. If we can reduce the busywork and let teachers focus on the parts of the job they love — the teaching, the mentoring, the impact — we can help keep great teachers in classrooms where they belong.
